Lumbar pain

A Good Foundation

Human posture influences musculo-skeletal health, organ health, digestion, respiration and breathing as well as neurological health. When standing, our feet are our foundation – they are the bridge between the earth and our bodies. Without proper foundational support our posture is heavily affected.

For those of us lucky enough to stand a majority of the day and be active and on their feet, proper foot support is paramount! Read more about this at The Good Feet Store.

Sitting with Proper Posture

In modern society many of us work while seated. More people than ever are working from home and are sitting 6-15 hours per day or more.

When seated, our buttocks are our foundation. Our buttocks are made up of our pelvis, sacrum and lower lumbar spine, hips and all the muscles, ligaments and soft tissues that support our seated posture. Therefore proper support for our seated position is absolutely necessary. When seated with a lack of proper support for hours on end, our entire body’s posture and function is negatively altered causing muscle pain, aches, strains, headaches and overall discomfort.

The spine and all the musculo-skeletal attachments are designed to move, bend, expand, contract and function within a specific posture range. When properly positioned the spinal disks move as intended, the rib cage easily facilitates full breathing for proper oxygenation, the muscles are relaxed and flexible creating overall health and well-being.

Using The Keester, your body is supported by being placed into an ideal postural position – allowing for decreased pain and improved stamina.
